December Sub releases coming

I’m working on the releases for December’s offering for tthe bandzzoogle subscription. This works just like a patreon subscription. At the basic level you get three new orignal songs per month.

I should say this month it be two as on is over 7 minutes long and is something of a suite. 70’s prog fans may appreciate the approach. sign up here: chriscavanaugh.bandzoogle.com got to MMS subscription area and connect your PayPal. (Thanks)

The shorter song is the first scripture song I wrote for this series and is more of the apporach of commentary on the text or leaning prarphrastic. Anyway, ENJOY!

A busy week finished…ChrisCavMusic

I began last week with Homestead Restaurant (my regular every other Monday gig for which I am thankful). Had a decent reception and busy room for dinner time.

Tuesday I was happy to back at Fratello’s in Manchester on the deck. It was a beautiful warm night with a deck-full of listeners. I was able to have a couple of engaging conversations there as well.

Wednesday found me returning to Fratello’s Nashua for a great night of music.

On Friday night I was at an Italian gem call Scola’s in Dracut MA. I very much enjoyed the people and the food. I even had friends travel down from NH.

Saturday was double duty as I was able to play violin and guitar at a friend’s wedding. I was joined by my daughter Kaylee on violin (also a hair stylist). Then I was off to Nashua again to return to Stella Blu into the late evening. Even had had some people look me up and follow me there.

I have more time to rest and count my blessing this week.

NEXT WEEK:

6/11 Mon-Homestead Merrimack 6-9p

6/13 Wed-Fratellos Nashua 6-9p

6/14 Thurs-Town Tavern Hudson 7-10p

6/16 Sat-Fratellos Manchester 6:30-10p

Chris Cavanaugh: Last week we’ll call rest…

I always have mixed feelings when I have a break from playing out. I get the sense of anxiousness that I should be out there. It’s about money and consistency. Our expectations from society largely drive us in these moments, but this is not the best motivation.

Motivations to be what we’re supposed to be out of a sense of security in who we are are the healthiest motivations. They are not fraught with the weight of expectation. The best way to find this is find who we were made to be and work on the whole person, body, soul (emotional maturity and spirit (in relationship to God).

If we must be driven, then lets be driven by a purpose that is higher than ourselves.
